Commission

Education Resources at the U.S. International Trade Commission

The USITC is an independent, quasi-judicial federal agency that provides objective trade expertise to both the legislative and executive branches of government, determines the impact of imports on U.S. industries, and directs actions against certain unfair trade practices, such as patent, trademark, and copyright infringement. USITC analysts and economists investigate and publish reports on U.S. industries and the global trends that affect them. The agency also updates and publishes the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States.

Reports and Publications Looking for information on trade-related topics? USITC reports and publications offer a wealth of in-depth information and analysis on a wide variety of topics and industries. Educators and higher-level students may find these publications useful.

Nearly all USITC factfinding investigations since November 1994 are posted on this server, as are Commission opinions in antidumping/countervailing duty investigations. Staff-generated articles on current trade issues, industry competitiveness, and global/regional trade developments can be found in two periodicals: Industry, Trade, and Technology Review and the International Economic Review. To search all posted publications by topic, use the search option at the top of the Reports and Publications page.
