The Population Estimates Program publishes metropolitan area total population estimates each year, using current metropolitan areas. Data will show demographic components of change (births, deaths, and migration) plus age, sex, race, and Hispanic origin for metropolitan areas. Puerto Rico data are included here. The reference date for these estimates is July 1. Check the archives for the latest data.
