HHS Secretary Tommy G. Thompson, CDC Director Dr. Julie L. Gerberding, NIH National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony S. Goodman today respond to the temporary delay in the Fall 2004 release of influenza vaccine by soliciting the public as well as the public health and medical communities to ensure that the remaining supply of vaccine goes to those who truly need it most.
