Carl Bortner Joins SOT Speaker Bureau

Carl Bortner, of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences' Laboratory of Signal Transduction, has been selected to join the Society of Toxicology's Speaker Bureau. The bureau is part of the SOT continuing education division, which provides courses at the annual meetings, and provides experts to lecture in a given area. Speaker selection is based on course evaluations from the annual meetings. Bortner's presentation, "Functional Flow Cytometry: Applications in Toxicology (2004)" spotlights apoptosis, cell volume regulation and flow cytometry.
