New legislation adds child support enforcement (IV-D) agencies to the list of entities that can, at option of the State, determine presumptive eligibility for the Medicaid program. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), formerly HCFA, allow presumptive eligibility for the SCHIP program.
