July 8, 2002

LOUDON, Tenn. — Rarity Communities Inc. and TVA will hold an open house to seek public comments about issues that should be included in an environmental review of the Rarity Pointe Community Development proposal submitted to TVA.

The open house will be held Tuesday, July 16, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Loudon County High School.

The proposed development would be located in the Lower Jackson Bend area on Tellico Reservoir, south of Antioch Church Road. Rarity Communities Inc. will provide information on the scope of the proposed community development. TVA staff will present information on the environmental review process and solicit comments on issues that should be addressed in an environmental review.
