Help
Account Type - there are three account types on the login screen.
You can see them if you depress the down arrow button on the "Account Type" entry box.
The JFCOM and USACOM selections apply to people who work at USJFCOM
and who have a USJFCOM computer at work. The WEBGATE selection applies
to people who don't work at USJFCOM, or who don't have a computer on the USJFCOM network.
If you need a WEBGATE account you can apply for one here.
Additional detail on account types can be found below.
Username - The username you enter will give you access to the limited
access website. USJFCOM users should use their NT account username.
Password - The password for the username you entered.
USJFCOM Personnel: If you work at USJFCOM, the login that you use at work
is the login that you use for this web site. There are two different "domains"
(operating systems) within USJFCOM, and your computer at work uses one of them.
You need to select the correct one in order to get into the web site, regardless
of your present location. If you're not sure of which one you use, the following
scenarios will help you:
- If you're at work and logged into your computer, depress and hold down the
"control" key, then the "alt" key, and then "delete" key in that order. A new window
will appear. You should see an entry that "(your name) is logged on as (domain/login)".
The "domain" entry is either USACOM or JFCOM, and is what you will need to know when you
are logging into the web site.
- If you're at home, or deployed, then try and login using either of them. One of them
will work. Remember, you use the same login/password that you use on the computer at work.
That login and password are case-specific (caps/lowercase).
NON-USJFCOM Personnel: You must apply for a WEBGATE account, which is manually
reviewed by our security personnel. If you are approved, you will receive an account.
When logging into the site, click on the little down arrow next to the "Account Type"
entry and select WEBGATE. Then supply the username and password you were provided. The
username and password are case-specific (caps/lowercase). If you need a WEBGATE account
you can apply for one here
