Briefing on the House of Representatives
Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Plan
Dear Colleague:
The Committee on House Administration will be hosting briefings for Members, Committees and Leadership staff on the House’s Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) plan. The briefings will take place on Friday, October 1, 2004.
There will be two separate briefings to accommodate all interested staff.
BCDR Briefing for Member Office Staff
11:00 am to 12:30 pm in 2168 Rayburn House Office Building
This briefing will be a high level discussion of the House’s business continuity and disaster recovery efforts and is intended for office emergency coordinators and other interested staff. The briefing is expected to last approximately 45 minutes.
Immediately following this briefing there will be a technical discussion of the Alternate Computing Facility which is intended for Member office systems administrators.
BCDR Briefing for Committee and Leadership Staff
1:30 pm to 3:00 pm in 1310 Longworth House Office Building
This briefing will be a high level discussion of the House’s business continuity and disaster recovery efforts and is intended for Committee and Leadership emergency coordinators and other interested staff.
Immediately following this briefing there will be a technical discussion of the Alternate Computing Facility which is intended for Committee and Leadership IT managers.
