Chemical-Biological Defense
Assuring operations in hostile environments.

DTRA helps build equipment to assist in detecting weapons of mass destruction threats. DTRA is currently working on a system to protect the United States from unconventional nuclear warfare (for example, radiological weapons). We also built a prototype urban bio-defense system in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to test the technology and provide a blueprint for other locations.
