The GPO Customer Services Department is planning on offering new and innovative services to meet our customer agency needs of electronic publishing. The Electronic Publishing Group (ePUB) is considering offering a full preflight of electronic media (i.e., evaluation of furnished media for proper file structure), file corrections/fixes (i.e., fonts, color conversion, bleeds, etc.), and tutoring services (2 to 3 hour consultation on a specific topics), all at competitive industry rates. It is our opinion that by identifying and/or correcting problem files prior to the procurement process, our customers will receive their final products in a more timely and cost efficient manner.
