Letter from Acquistion Services
Dear Prospective Bidder:
Thank you for your interest in the Government Printing Office (GPO).
GPO's Acquisition Services is responsible for the procuring
of a wide range of products and services to support
GPO's Central Office and Regional Offices.
GPO is committed to providing all qualified potential contractors with
an equal opportunity to take part in its competitive bidding process.
There are advantages to the taxpayer, the Government and to industry
by increasing the number of contractors participating in the bid process.
I invite your participation and hope you will be doing business with
the GPO in the future.
On this website you will find a Solicitation Mailing: List Application
(SF 129) and information on "How to do business with the GPO". Complete
the SF 129 in its entirety and identify in block 10
the predominant categories of items/services provided by your firm and
if any minimum order amounts are required. You will also find a Qualified
Products List. If you are interested in supplying any of these products,
specify the code number and you will be furnished the specifications
and sample requirements required for testing and evaluation. Please send
completed forms to U.S. Government Printing Office, 710 North Capitol
Street, NW, General Procurement Division, Mail Stop: MMP, Washington,
DC 20401.
All payments due contractors resulting from
a contract or order with the GPO will only be made
by way of Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT). Companies who wish to do business
with the GPO will be required to designate a financial institution through
which EFT payments can be made.
Also, most Federal Government acquisitions over $25,000 are synopsized
in the FEDBIZOPP web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
Again, I appreciate your interest in GPO.
Sincerely
HERBERT H. JACKSON, JR.
