HHS Emerging Leaders Program"An opportunity for personal growth and development"How to ApplyApplication Process/EligibilityThe next Emerging Leaders class will start July 26, 2004. To apply for the program you must speak with an HHS representative at one of the many career fairs that we will be attending throughout the country. Our recruitment schedule can be found by clicking on Recruitment Calendar. Once you have spoken with a member of the HHS team, you will be instructed on how to complete the application process. We will also be holding a Career Fair at HHS Headquarters on Thursday, February 12th from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Hubert H. Humphrey Building that is located at 200 Independence Ave, SW, Washington, DC- You will need a photo ID. At the HHS Career Fair we will have representatives from each of the Operating Divisions (NIH, FDA, CDC, ACF, CMS, SAMSHA, AHRQ, AOA, OS, IHS, PSC and HRSA) on hand to address: agency specific careers, agencies’ missions and general information. In addition, there will be information sessions regarding the Emerging Leaders Program. These sessions will be on going throughout the day. For a listing of times for a particular session, please visit our recruitment calendar. Eligibility RequirementsYou must be a U.S. Citizen. You must be able to qualify at the GS-9 level.
