NOB Lab Recruiting Staff Scientist

(May 5, 2003) — The Neuro-Oncology Branch of the National Cancer Institute, National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, and the National Institute of Health is recruiting a Staff Scientist to work in the area of cancer genomics and/or experimental therapeutics. The successful candidate should have a M.D. or Ph.D. degree and at least 3 years of post-doctoral training in molecular and cellular biology. Laboratory projects include the genetic study of primary glial neoplasms and neural stem cells for the purpose of identifying novel anti-tumor targets, development of high throughput anti-tumor screens, small molecule inhibitors of signal transduction pathways, and genetic vectors. Experience in cancer biology would be desirable.
