Acceptable Treasury Tax and Loan (TT&L)

An updated list of acceptable collateral that can be pledged for the TT&L program. All collateral pledged to secure TT&L deposits and balances must be transferable and owned by the depositary free and clear of all liens, charges, or claims. -
March 2000 Special Notice to Treasury Tax and Loan Depositaries:
On March 22, 2000, Treasury provided all TT&L Depositaries with a revised list of collateral that is acceptable for the TT&L Program. -
Acceptable Collateral for Treasury's Special Direct Investment (SDI) Program:
A list of the acceptable types of collateral that can be pledged for the SDI Program. Also, see the March 2004 Special Notice to Treasury Tax and Loan Depositaries. - Acceptable Collateral for Treasury's Term Investment Option (TIO) Program: An updated list of collateral acceptable for pledging for the TIO Program. See TT&L Collateral Valuation Table below for valuation of acceptable TIO collateral.

An updated list of collateral acceptable for pledging to programs governed by 31 CFR Part 225, including assigned values. Securities eligible for this program must be backed by an "unconditional guarantee" by the United States Government. - June 2001 Special Notice to Program Participants: On June 14, 2001, Treasury issued this Special Notice as a reminder to 31 CFR Part 225 program participants that current federal statutes limit what is acceptable as collateral.
