SUSAN S. ROBFOGEL

Susan Robfogel is a partner in Nixon Peabody LLP in the Rochester and New York City offices of the firm. She represents employers in all aspects of labor relations and employment law.

In addition to her work in labor relations and employment law, Mrs. Robfogel also has wide and varied experience in regulatory matters affecting the health care industry.

In 1983 she was appointed by President Reagan to the Federal Service Impasses Panel, the agency responsible for resolving collective bargaining disputes in the federal sector. She completed three terms on the Panel.

Mrs. Robfogel serves on the New York State Data Protection Review Board, to which she was appointed by the New York State Commissioner of Health in 1984; she chaired the Data Protection Review Board in 1990 and currently is its Vice Chair.

Mrs. Robfogel is a member of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. She has been a member of the New York State Bar Association House of Delegates and is Past Chairman of the Health Law Committee of the New York State Bar Association. She is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and is a Member of the Labor Law Sections of the New York State and American Bar Associations.

Mrs. Robfogel is a cum laude graduate of Smith College and holds a JD from the Cornell Law School.
