For Your Female Patients
There are numerous sources - and sometimes overwhelming amounts - of information about health and disease topics available to your patients, especially those with access to the Internet. Many patients are taking advantage of the wealth of information available online to do extensive research on their health concerns. Credibility and quality of information can be a problem, whether information comes from a web site, a popular magazine, a newspaper, a radio or TV program, or a friend or other source. Now you can give your patients reliable, accurate sources of health information! The following resources from the National Women's Health Information Center (NWHIC) are developed from current research and recommendations from the federal government and health professional organizations.
