Q:  How can we obtain copies of ATSDR publications?

Contact ATSDR's Information Center by calling the ATSDR toll-free information line, 1-888-42-ATSDR (1-888-422-8737), or sending an e-mail to ATSDRIC@cdc.gov.  Any of ATSDR's publications, technical books, or microfiche from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health's NIOSHTIC Database, a bibliographic database of literature in the field of occupational safety and health, can be obtained through this source.

Q:  What happens to requests for publications, journal articles, and CD-ROMs?

Requested materials are sent, if available, or the request is referred to the proper resource to obtain the information.

Q:  Are ATSDR's toxicological profiles available on the Internet?

Currently, the toxicological profiles are not available on the Internet.  However, a listing of the profiles is available that includes the status of the profile, i.e., draft, final, public comment, and the date of release.  Ordering procedures are available by calling ATSDR's toll-free information line, 1-888-42-ATSDR 1-888-422-8737), or sending an e-mail to mailto:ATSDRIC@cdc.gov to request a copy of the ATSDR Toxicological Profile Information Sheet.

Q:  How frequently are the ATSDR toxicological profiles updated?

Every three years a committee reviews the profiles and decides if sufficient new information exists to compile an updated version
