SBA Welfare to Work Tool Kit

The Small Business Administration recently released a Welfare to Work toolkit to help employers understand the advantages of welfare to work programs and how to get involved in local communities. Check out the SBA Toolkit and other resources available for small businesses.

The Welfare to Work Partnership

The Partnership is a nonpartisan, nationwide effort designed to encourage and assist private sector businesses with hiring people on public assistance. Check this site out to learn how businesses can better use the Welfare to Work program resources.

ETA Home Page: Employers

The ETA Home Page has numerous links to resources that can help employers who are involved in the Welfare to Work effort. Several links that are especially valuable are The Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) and the One-Stop Career Center Page . Recently, the Ticket to Work and Work Incentives Improvement Act of 1999 extended the WOTC program through December 2001.
