Mr. Schiff: At the FBI, besides more than 11,000 Special Agents investigating cases, there are several thousand analysts on the job as well...

Ms. Chandler: "The analysts are involved in analyzing work for Foreign Counterintelligence, Counterterrorism, Cyber cases as well as criminal cases."

Mr. Schiff: That's FBI Assistant Director Cassi Chandler...

Ms. Chandler: "FBI analysts are coming into the Bureau, or have been working in the Bureau, from a variety of backgrounds."

Mr. Schiff: Chandler says analysts are needed and you may qualify...

Ms. Chandler: "We have individuals who are attorneys who have their Juris Doctor degrees; we have individuals who are scientists; we have former military intelligence analysts now currently working for the FBI."

Mr. Schiff: FBI Director Robert Mueller says analysts working with Agents have helped thwart a number of threats in the recent past. Check the FBI web site at fbi.gov in case you are interested in applying. I'm Neal Schiff and that's what's happening at the "FBI, This Week."
