FBI Analysts- II
Listen with Realplayer

Mr. Schiff: The FBI and other agencies work hard at Counterterrorism. Special Agents work hand-in-hand with analysts who, as FBI Assistant Director Cassi Chandler says, come from all walks of life with Doctorate and other degrees...

Ms. Chandler: "Masters and Phd's, just a large variety of backgrounds; those with special skills and an emphasis in Political Science, English and other areas."

Mr. Schiff: Chandler says the analysts work in Counterintelligence, Counterterrorism, Cyber and Criminal...

Ms. Chandler: "Analysts are involved at all levels of investigations and in all the various types of investigations being conducted by the FBI."

Mr. Schiff: Chandler says a lot of reports are prepared...

Ms. Chandler: "Analysts are providing support for federal agencies such as the CIA, Homeland Security, as well as the Joint Terrorism Task Forces, and they're also providing analytical support for state and local police."

Mr. Schiff: More analysts are needed. You may apply on line at fbi.gov. Just fill out a preliminary application. I'm Neal Schiff and that's what's happening at the "FBI, This Week."
