ASTER On-Demand Data Gateway

The ASTER On-Demand Data Gateway is used to create Level-2 (and higher) products from existing ASTER Level 1B data. Depending upon the products requested, users can select unique combinations of input parameters to create made-to-order data sets such as brightness temperature, surface reflectance, decorrelation stretch and other products.

Important: On-demand products are not archived (with the exception of DEM products), and therefore, they are removed from the system at the time of expiration. For this reason we suggest keeping a copy of all order options by printing out the Review Order screen prior to order submission. This information can be used in the event an order must be resubmitted. Note that charging varies for ASTER products. Please refer to the LP DAAC Product Pricing List and the ASTER Pricing Policy for details.

3. - Go to EOS Data Gateway

Begin the process of requesting on-demand products by searching for Level 1B data granules (scenes) in the EOS Data Gateway (EDG). Select desired scene and obtain Level 1B data identification number.

4. - Place On-Demand Order

Finalize the ordering process. Provide data ID number, select processing options and provide order delivery information.
