NATIONAL FAMILY CAREGIVER SUPPORT PROGRAM (AoA)

Demonstration: The 2000 amendments to the Older Americans Act established a new program to support family caregivers. There are approximately 7 million informal caregivers, such as spouses and adult children, helping 95 percent of disabled older persons who need help in the community. Priorities include:
