Ginnie Mae Statutes and Regulations

Ginnie Mae Statutes (PDF)

Ginnie Mae is a government corporation. As a part of government, laws passed by the Congress of the United States and signed by the President govern its conduct. The statutory authority of Ginnie Mae is derived from Title III of the National Housing Act, 12 U.S.C. 1716 et seq.

As a government corporation, Ginnie Mae and its program are also governed by a set of regulations. These regulations are published in the Code of Federal Regulations at Title 24, Part 300-310.
