Regarding the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief
The release of this money is a landmark achievement that builds on our nation's
historic efforts to fight global AIDS by delivering the hope of modern
medicine to those who need it most around the world.
This investment complements the unmatched resources we are providing
the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, while demonstrating
once again that no government in any nation has ever done more to end
the suffering caused by this disease than the United States under President
Bush
