Frogs: A Chorus of Colors - This fun, fascinating, and enormously popular presentation of more than 200 live frogs from over 17 countries has been extended through January 9, 2005.

The Margaret Mead Film & Video Festival - The 28th annual Mead Festival offers the best in international documentary films, conversations, and roundtables. Themes this season include native media from the Northwest Coast and the Southwest and a tribute to the creator of cinema verite, Jean Rouch (1901-2004). November 11-14 and November 20-21.

Origami Tree and Holiday Dinos - A Museum annual tradition, the delightfully decorated Origami Holiday Tree and the merrily lit 19-foot Holiday Barosaurs welcome visitors to the Museum during the holiday season.

Vikings: Journey to New Worlds - This 40-minute film explores the Vikings' historical and cultural influence, their technological and scientific achievements, and the lands they explored and settled.

Fall Colors across North America – over 35 color photographs offer New Yorkers a chance to visit brilliantly colored fall foliage in pristine settings without having to leave the city.

Dinosaurs Alive: Ancient Fossils, New Ideas - Coming in 2005 - This cutting-edge exhibition reveals how current thinking about dinosaur biology has changed dramatically over the past two decades.

Ology - The Museum's science-rich Web site for kids. Winner of 2004 Distinguished Achievement Awards for Interactivity and Navigation from The Association of Educational Publishers.

Science Bulletins – This new Web site presents current topics in astrophysics, Earth sciences, and biodiversity with Feature stories, interactive data visualizations, and weekly Snapshots of news of the natural world.

Seminars on Science - Graduate life, earth, and physical science courses for educators. Registration is now open for Winter 2005 courses that begin January 31.

Resources for Learning - Online educational materials for teachers and others interested in learning about science. Winner of the 2004 Golden Lamp award for Technology from The Association of Educational Publishers.

Center for Biodiversity & Conservation – The CBC's programs focus on areas of the world where biodiversity is both rich and of great conservation concern. Currently, the CBC has projects in the Bahamas, Bolivia, Madagascar, Vietnam, and the greater New York metropolitan region.
