About International
The international economic accounts encompass the international transactions
accounts (balance of payments) and the international investment positions
accounts (the accumulated stocks of U.S.-owned assets abroad and of foreign-owned
assets in the United States), as well as estimates of U.S. direct investment
abroad and foreign direct investment in the United States.
