and Clients on CD-ROM
Price: $50
Subject Content:
CD-ROM containing results from the National Survey
of Homeless Assistance Providers and Clients (NSHAPC) conducted to provide
updated information on homeless assistance programs and their clients. The
survey was a source of data for federal agencies administering homeless
assistance programs and other interested parties. National in scope, NSHAPC was
conducted under the direction of the Interagency Council on the Homeless and was
not designed to produce a count of homeless persons.
The survey is based on a statistical sample of 76 metropolitan and nonmetropolitan areas, including small cities and rural areas. Data for the survey were collected between October 1995 and November 1996.
Data deal with program type and the services delivered. User data focuses on characteristics such as age, race/ethnicity, sex, family status, history of homelessness, employment, education, veteran status, and use of services and benefits.
