Local Travel Information

The Metro is probably the fastest mode of transportation for a visitor. The Business Center is within walking distance of the Federal Center Metro station. To get to the Business Center from the Federal Center Metro station, which is on the Orange and Blue lines, you must:

  1. Take the escalators up to 3rd street and turn left.
  2. Make a left on D Street.
  3. Make a left on 4th Street and proceed past the train tracks.
  4. The building is on your right, and the Business Center is on the 6th Floor.

Fare cards can be purchased at the dispensers inside the station. You can add as much money as is necessary to get you to and from your destination according to the rates listed on the fare chart. Enclosed in this guide is a complete map of the Washington, D.C., Metro system showing all of the Metro stations.

For further information about the Metro lines or for Transit Bus schedules, stop locations, or arrival/departure times, call (202) 637-7000. The Metro operational hours are as follows:

Metro(subway): Monday-Friday 5:30am-midnight
                           Saturday & Sunday 8am-midnight

Metro (bus): Daily 6am-11: 30pm (with special Holiday schedules)

Also, visitors to the Business Center can take a taxi to various locations in the city.
