Arthur Krock was born on November 16, 1886, in Glasgow, Kentucky. He attended college at Princeton University, but left before graduating. Since 1932, he has worked as a reporter for the New York Times newspaper. He has held the position as the Washington correspondent. He won a Pulitzer prize in 1935 and 1938. Arthur Krock died on April 11, 1974.
