Announcement of Public Workshop on Deep Gas Royalty Relief Provisions

MMS issued proposed regulations (68 FR 14868, March 26, 2003) for suspension of royalties for Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) leases in shallow water associated with deep gas drilling and production. This notice announces a workshop to explain, publicize, and answer questions about the proposed regulation. MMS will host the workshop Wednesday, April 30, 2003, starting at 8:00 am at the Westin Galleria, 5060 W. Alabama Street, Houston, TX, 77056, Tel (713)-960-8100.
