Eligibility criteria
In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be unemployed or about to become unemployed and/or receiving some form of public assistance. You must also characterize your financial situation as low income or very low income .

Description
The Welfare To Work (WtW) program serves certain welfare recipients, non-custodial parents, low-income custodial parents, and youth who are former foster care recipients. The goal is to provide individuals with the transitional assistance they need to make the successful progression into lasting, unsubsidized employment that provides opportunities for retention, advancement, and economic self-sufficiency. The program provides pre- and post-employment, transitional employment, job placement, and supportive services.
