Eligibility criteria
In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be a parent or primary caregiver responsible for children under the age of 16 years, who needs assistance paying for child care, is able and willing to start work immediately, and must also characterize your financial situation as low income or very low income. In order to qualify you must also be either employed (full-time, part-time or seasonal), unemployed or about to become unemployed, or a current or prospective student.

Description
The Child Care and Development Fund provides assistance to low-income families who need child care due to work, work-related training and/or attending school.
