Description

Measurement is integral to the management of organizations, projects, processes, and people. The implementation of an effective and practical measurement program requires consideration of the entire management task.

Measurement Consultation provides:
• Assessment of the organizations measurement practices
• Diagnosis of measurement problems and challenges within the context of the organization's goals and technical and managerial issues
• Hands-on support through the process of adopting a practical measurement program capable of data-driven decisions
• A self-sustaining measurement program where the people involved understand how to evolve the program to meet the goals and issues of the organization

Participants will:
Understand the key process, technical, and people elements of an effective measurement program
Understand the roles and responsibilities of executive and senior management in implementing and sustaining a measurement program
Have the ability to evolve the measurement program based on the changing goals and technical and managerial issues of their organization

Associated Activities and Deliverables
Measurement Capability Assessment. This formal assessment method is designed to assess the strengths and weaknesses of existing measurement practices within the context of the overall organization. Related and supportive technologies and business practices are addressed within the assessment which allows for a complete view of the needs of the organization.
