Officer Training School is located at Maxwell AFB, AL, and provides a 12-week basic officer training course programmed to commission 1,000 officers annually.  Additionally, OTS conducts a 4-week commissioned officer training program for over 1,500 new judge advocates, chaplains and medical officers each year.

 
OTS Students    Basic Officer Training Program
A 12 week program designed for college graduates interested in earning a commission in the USAF.  BOT helps prepare Officer Trainees for the leadership challenges they will face in the US Air Force officer corps.
   
OTS Student Life    Commissioned Officer Training Program
A four week program designed for professionals who have received a direct commissioned appointment as a lawyer, chaplain or into a corps of the medical service. The Reserve COT course is a 14 day intensive program designed for hard-to-recruit Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard medical service officers.
