DATA  ABSTRACTS

Data Abstracts are comprehensive reports that present selected, region-specific statistics on energy use by households, household vehicles, commercial buildings, and manufacturing establishments. All Data Abstracts include general information on those aspects of a region's geography, natural resources, economy, agriculture, and industry that are related to energy markets and demand.

Data Abstract Supplements present statistics on household energy use in each of the four most populous States (California, Florida, New York, and Texas). The Supplements are published separately at the end of the related Division report. For example, the New York Data Abstract Supplement appears as the final section of the Middle Atlantic Data Abstract.

The Data Abstract series will include reports on each of the four U.S. Census Regions and the nine U.S. Census Divisions, plus the four State Supplements. Links to currently available reports are provided in the sidebar to the left.
