Research Backs the Benefits

Numerous research studies and reviews have found that diets rich in fruits and vegetables are associated with reduced risks for chronic diseases and many types of cancer. A single study can not be excepted as conclusive. Often studies that are highlighted in the media over emphasize the unusual or conflicting results rather than confirming the more prevalent studies and consistent data. While more research is needed in this area the results of current evidence collectively demonstrates that fruit and vegetable intake is associated with improved health and the reduced risk of major chronic diseases.
