- Train and motivate Sailors and Marines to prevent mishaps and save
lives!!!!
- Standardize the quality of safety programs.
- Serve as consultant and advisor to you, our customer.
- Help enable you to recognize hazards, manage risks, and understand
safety information to prevent mishaps.
- Provide statistical analysis from HAZREPS, mishaps, and accidents.
- Promote aviation safety through the following programs.
- Squadron Safety Surveys: Provide Commanding Officers with an
in-house review of Safety, NATOPS, Aeromedical, and Training
Departments. Additionally, Command Climate and Culture
Assessment Surveys and ORM training for operators is provided.
- Facilities Safety Surveys: Provide Commanding Officers with
a complete analysis of the following programs:
- Crash, Salvage and Rescue
- Fuels
- Air Traffic Control
- Transit and Visiting Aircraft Line
- Airfield
- Arresting Gear
- Airfield Facilities/Support
- BASH (Bird Animal Strike Hazard) information
- HAZMAT
