How To Get Marine
Corps Publications
Current doctrine publications
may be accessed and downloaded directly from our website, thus
reducing printing costs and warehouse storage space.
Once a publication is electronically distributed, extra
printed copies are extremely limited. Please note that
the Doctrine Division does not stock or direct-mail
printed copies of doctrine
publications. To receive printed copies of
current publications, please follow the procedures
below.
For Navy and Marine Corps
Personnel
Determine whether your
unit/command has an Individual Activity Code (IAC). This
code is normally assigned to the adjutant section/G-1.
With an IAC
Order current publications
directly through the Marine Corps Publication Distribution
System (MCPDS), a computer-based distribution system located
in Albany, GA. Access to MCPDs is normally via your
unit's/command's adjutant section/G-1.
Without an IAC
Contact ARDE,
HQMC, at DSN
224-2951, 1712, 1713, or 4816 or Commercial (703) 614-2951,
1712, 1713, or 4816 for instructions on establishing an IAC.
For Other DOD/Federal
Government Personnel
Contact ARDE,
HQMC,
