From March 29, 2004, the Consular Section of the American Embassy in Bridgetown, Barbados will maintain a drop box and mail in visa application service for children  under 14, diplomatic "A" and international organization "G" visa applicants, and those age 80 and above.  Processing times are under two weeks.  All others must make an appointment for an interview.  Interviews may be obtained by telephoning (246) 228-6340 between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm, or by automated website - http://210.177.22.41/barbados/.

Persons applying for passports and other American citizens services may do so between 8:30 am and 11:30 am, and 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.  Persons seeking Consular Report of Birth Abroad or a notarial service should do so between 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

The Embassy is closed on American and Barbados Holidays.
