NON IMMIGRANT VISA SERVICES

Nonimmigrant visa applications are accepted from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. No appointment is necessary. Approved visas can be issued as quickly as the same day, although administrative processing can delay issuance in some cases for up to three months. All applicants should present a valid passport, completed application form, one photograph, and pay the $100.00 processing fee. This fee, payable in U.S. dollars or Tunisian Dinars, is not refundable, even if the visa application is refused. If the visa is issued, applicants from some countries may be charged a reciprocity visa fee according to reciprocal fees between the U.S. and other countries. At present, Tunisians and Algerians are not subject to any reciprocity fee. Libyan applicants have to pay an issuance fee of $10.00 or equivalent in Tunisian Dinars.

In addition to the fees, photo and passport, applicants should bring any documents they believe will demonstrate economic, family, or other reasons to return to their home countries following a temporary visit to the United States.

Examples include proof of employment, salary, school certificates, business licenses or any additional evidence showing the applicant’s ties to his or her country of residence. Applicants should also provide specific address in the United States, and evidence that they have sufficient financial resources to cover their proposed stay in the United States.
