USDA Rural Development serves as the lead federal entity for rural development needs, and administers program assistance through three agencies: Rural Housing Service, Rural Business-Cooperative Service, and Rural Utilities Service.

We staff 16 field offices throughout the state  because we want to serve our customers in their communities. From our State Office in St. Paul, we work closely with state government, and our partners in the mortgage and banking industries.
