Welcome to the USDA-Rural Development Nevada State View from Mt. Grant, NV looking south toward Boundary Peek, Inyo National ForestOffice website. We have a wonderful story to tell and many accomplishments to share with you.

USDA-Rural Development is the lead federal entity for rural economic and community development needs.  It administers financial and technical assistance through a network of state Rural Development offices, various non-profit and educational institutional partners, and its national office.

We strengthen rural communities and provide opportunities to individuals through affordable housing, community infrastructure, and business financing programs.  Our motto is: Participating in the success of rural Nevada.

Where we do our job is important. We staff four field offices - Elko, Fallon, Las Vegas, and Winnemucca - because we believe it is important to have skills and expertise based in rural Nevada. From our State Office in Nevada's capital, Carson City, we are able to work closely with our partners in state government, and in the mortgage and banking industries.
