In the 66 year history of the Rural Utilities Service, U.S. presidents have played an important part in shaping the kinds of services the RUS has been able to offer rural America. So, in honor of these great leaders, come take a journey with me down the "RUS Hall of Presidents" to see how American Presidents helped shaped RUS history.

RUS the Surfin' Squirrel says: The Rural Utilities Service (RUS) is a Rural Development Agency of the United States Department of Agriculture. We help rural America finance electric, telecommunications, and water and waste water projects, and make loans and grants for rural distance learning and telemedicine projects. RUS is also a policy and planning rural advocacy agency.
