Paraplegic Jeff McCaffrey Walks to Cure Diabetes

JDRF's Unite To Cure Diabetes program is a two-year national campaign to raise awareness of the importance of diabetes research, highlight JDRF's global leadership, and raise funds for the fight to find a cure for diabetes and its complications. Launched in Washington, D.C. in June 2003, the campaign includes the Walk to Cure Diabetes, Children's Congress, the Global Diabetes Research Forum, and other special events.
