WHAT's NEW

A number of national and global observances are held annually to help us understand and fight the HIV/AIDS pandemic. The Department of Health and Human Services is using all its resources to combat the disease, and one way it is doing so is by supporting these observances, which help raise awareness and spread information about HIV/AIDS.

It is important to know the facts, how to prevent being infected, and how to live with the disease. We need to continue to talk and learn about HIV/AIDS, and the observances listed here provide an excellent opportunity for discussion and information sharing. Our goal is to provide timely information and resources for these awareness days.
