You must have the permission to Submit Proposals to access this function
The Project Description (and supplemental documents) are to be uploaded as an accompanying PDF file
This system will only load the proposal as a FastLane proposal. You must then access Institutional Management, Submit Proposals to NSF to submit the proposal

Log into the system (you must have the Submit Proposals permission)
Type in the file name that contains the 194 transaction set
Type in the file name that contains the Project Description PDF
Update if required the e-mail address field. The results of the EDI edits will be sent to this address.
Click on Transfer
The actual transfer of the information may take a few minutes
Within an hour of the transfer, the proposal will be available for viewing/editing by the PI and for submission by the Sponsored Research Office
Please review the proposal contents to assure that the information has been transferred properly
To formally submit the proposal to NSF, use the Submit Proposals to NSF (within Institutional Management) and follow normal FastLane procedures for cover sheet processing
Exception Items
If you determine that the proposal was not transferred correctly, do one of the following:
access Proposal Preparation to change the proposal or the PDF file
access Proposal Preparation to delete the proposal, modify your EDI or PDF file and retransmit
Use the Back button on the toolbar to return to the previous screen.
