Introduction
The purpose of this task is to allow the Principal Investigator (PI) or Sponsoring Research Organization (SRO) the ability to request a change of PI for an existing award. The requirements depend on whether the change is initiated by the PI or initated by the SRO.
Initiated by Principal Investigator (PI)
If the Principal Investigator (PI) initiates the change of PI, the following tasks must be completed by the PI and SRO as noted.

Initiated by Sponsoring Research Organization (SRO)
If the Sponsoring Research Organization (SRO) initiates the change of PI, the following tasks must be completed by the SRO.
