A two-volume study, based on a 1998 symposium, sponsored by the FDIC. Reviews the resolution and asset disposition strategies developed and implemented by the FDIC and RTC in response to the banking crisis of the 1980s and early 1990s. It also reflects on the effectiveness of these methods and the lessons learned.
