 Survey Participation
How can I tell if I should respond to a survey?
Right Arrow Graphic  Every approved Air Force survey is assigned a survey control number (SCN).  Surveys approved other than by this office will have a Reports Control Symbol (RCS) or Office of Management and Budget (OMB) number and those surveys are ok to answer.
Right Arrow Graphic  If you are called by an individual conducting a survey, they *should* clearly identify the survey approval by specifying one of these numbers.
Right Arrow Graphic Often surveys are administered by a contractor.  Ensure they can provide a POC within the Air Force community, prior to participation.
Right Arrow Graphic For DoD surveys, once you have obtained a control number, you may select the following link to obtain additional information.

Right Arrow Graphic  However, no classified information may be included in any answer to a personnel survey.
Right Arrow Graphic  Survey participation is voluntary and personnel should be encouraged, but not directed, to complete surveys (Ref AFI 36-2601AFI 36-2601, para 3.9).
