Chemical-Biological Defense
The Defense Threat Reduction Agency's Chemical and Biological Defense Directorate
manages and integrates all DoD chemical and biological science and technology efforts
and performs program financial management functions.
Medical science and technology programs look at pretreatments, diagnostics,
therapeutics, and emerging threats.
Non-Medical science and technology programs include Detection, Protection,
Decontamination, Modeling and Simulation, and Support Science and Technology.
Technology transition programs include Transition Planning, Test and
Evaluation, War-fighter Enhancement, and Anti-Terrorism and Force Protection.
